Dear Readers……

February 7th,2012 my 9 year old son Sam was hit by a car while getting ready to cross the road and board his school bus.

The driver of the car failed to stop for schoolbus with flashing lights and pulled out STOP sign. My son was swept from the side of the road by car driving 80km or 100 miles per hour. By miracle Sam survived this ordeal.

As of today March 13th,2012 Sam is still at home dealing with post concussion symptoms amongst other issues.

My 14 year old son Trevor who is type 1 diabetic witnessed this accident and is suffering from diabetes issues and was recently diagnosed with PTD (Post Trauma Depression).

Due to all of these circumstances I need put this blog on hiatus.

Those who know me and follow my blog know that Daily Organized Chaos is my passion and I worked very hard to make it a growing success.

However, the well-being and happiness of my children always was and always will be my priority so for time being my passion needs to take a back seat to caring for my children and making sure they receive all the care and love they deserve and need.

I apologize to all my readers, sponsors and advertisers. At this time I am not able to take on any assignments or continue working on building traffic with my content.

I will return to my passion as soon as possible, but at this time I can’t tell when…..

~ Sincerely, Bibi Bailey ~

UPDATE:

Many of my readers and followers are sending me email and asking about my family. So when I received a comment from Rebecca asking for update I decided to let you guys know:

My boys are doing little bit better. We are taking baby steps….lot of physical and mental therapy, medications and family time. They are both back at school. The little one has still limited activities and is suffering from panic attacks daily. My teenage diabetic is now on Prozac and doing better socially, but his sugars are still not quite under control.

As for myself, I am also on medication and going through mental wellness program over the phone. I am slowly starting to write and getting back to my life. It’s one step forward and two steps back…

Seafood Heaven – Ivar’s Acres Of Clams in Seattle

Ivar's Acres Of Clams in Seattle

Few years ago I was not a big fan of SEAFOOD….however over the years my taste changed a lot (I became a big girl) and I started slowly to venture out to the wonderful world of fresh seafood….

…I blame my husband…..the biggest seafood lover I know for this transformation or should I say his constant nagging…

First, he made sure our boys crossed over to his side and then he slowly worked on me….and I think he tried to change me for his own selfish reasons….the luck of SEAFOOD on our dinner menu and my hesitation of visiting Seafood restaurants with him.

Things changed and now I enjoy trying new seafood restaurants on our travels….now don’t get crazy thinking that I seek out these seafood only establishments…,but I will join my family on their quest and give in here and there.

On our recent trip to Seattle….the seafood mecca of NorthWest…..I just had to go (all my friends made me promise I would) to check out IVAR’S ACRES OF CLAMS. Read the rest of this entry »
