Meatballs Stroganoff

This week I am spending at the campground with my children…..first camping trip without the help of my hubs.
We just started day 2 and I must admit I had my doubts, but so far so good.
Since we are camping no fancy dinners for us this week….I know… I know…I can do it, but honestly, my two boys won’t appreciate the effort….so why bother.
Simple meal it is…..
……Sometimes a bag of Ikea Swedish frozen meatballs and bag of egg noodles can help you to make tasty dinner in less then 30 minutes.
How does Meatballs Stroganoff sounds to you?
My new invention Meatballs Stroganoff made an appearance on our dinner
This recipe will make 4-5 servings.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups Cooked Egg Noodles
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Onion (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup White Wine
- 5 cups Swedish Frozen Meatballs
- Paprika
- 1,5 cup Sour Cream
STEP 1: In a small bowl nuke the frozen meatballs in the microwave for few minutes till they are soft enough to cut.Cut the meatballs into quarters.
STEP 2: In a skillet heat the oil and brown the onions. Add the wine and let it reduce.Toss in cut up meatballs and cook till they are heated through. Add paprika. Stir it well. Add sour cream and cook for couple of minutes longer.

STEP 3: Cook egg noodles, drain and put a serving in the middle of the plate. Top with scoop of Meatballs Stroganoff and sprinkle with paprika.
Serve!

I was just at IKEA last week. Are they OK, these meatballs? I’m not a big fan of them myself but my kids love them in the restaurant.
