Smooth Away Hair Removal

smooth away hair removal
I know ,I know Smooth Away Hair Removal has been around for quite some time.

I’ve been hearing and watching commercials for this fast and painless hair removal. I’ve been walking around pretty boxes with Smooth Away Hair Removal in Wal-Mart.

It all looked promising , but I have been burned by infomercials and As Seen On TV products many times before.

I was resisting the smooth talking people from Smooth Away till few weeks ago.

Yes, I did picked up the little pretty box promising me fast and painless hair removal.

I figured summer will be here soon enough so I decided to bite the bullet and purchase The Smooth Away Hair Removal.

After I came home from shopping the house was empty and I couldn’t wait and put the Smooth Away to the test and experience the wonder that is PAINLESS HAIR REMOVER.

Jokes aside, no kidding here, ladies the Smooth Away Hair Removal really works.

According to the description on the product each pad is covered with superfine crystals. The kit comes with 1 large and 1 small Smooth Away applicators and 4 large and 4 small Smooth Away pads. You can reuse the pads till you notice that they don’t do the job anymore.

The complete hair removal process was very easy and totally painless.

All you have to do to use the Smooth Away hair removal is gently rub the unwanted hair area with the pad in a circular motion according to the directions in the pamphlet.

Not only you get rid of the unwanted hair, but also you are exfoliating your skin leaving it smooth and soft. I was slick and smooth and…..you get the point.

I tried the Smooth Away on my upper lip, legs and my face with equal results. 24 hours later my skin is still unbelievably (baby bum) soft.

I was very skeptical to try Smooth Away. I read lots of bad reviews about this product.

As for me, personally….I followed the instruction very closely and it worked like a charm. No irritations, no razor burn, no red skin.

As with any product some people will like it and some people won’t.

In my opinion the Smooth Away Hair Removal won’t work real well for women with fair and very soft skin as well as women with thicker hair.

The way I see it….it was cheap enough to try it and it worked for me….BONUS.

According to the website the hair will grow back less and finer after each use. I can’t support this claim….yet.

For now The Smooth Away Hair Removal gets thumbs up from me.

***I was not compensated in any way for this review. I purchased the Smooth Away Hair Removal product on my own***

Thanks for sharing about this product — I’ve been wondering about it.

I’m curious to know how long the pads will last and if it is it worth it economically?

Chelsey, I am not sure how economical is it yet. I just started. The Smooth Away costs under $10.00 and comes with 4 large and 4 small pads. I was using Schick Intuition and I was paying $15.00 for refills every 3-4 weeks. Right now the Smooth Away seem cheaper, but will have to see how it continues to work.

  5. Wow – just rub your legs and the hair falls out? Faster or longer lasting than a razor? Interesting review! Thanks!

  6. We have a similar product in Australia called Silky Mits although my Mum keeps calling them hairy mits.

They work brilliantly … although I can say from experience that you should NOT use them on the under arms. I did and I was sore for a week.

The ones here last for 3 – 4 goes .. and we get 3 in a pack. How long that lasts basically depends on how fast your hair grows. I am lucky my leg hair is slow growing and sparse to they last me a few months.

This really sounds promising, if it works it will not only make the hair removal process effective, but also make it considerably easy.

I agree that with so many negative reviews out there on the internet, it is becoming increasingly difficult to try out new products. But most of those people with bad experiences of the products have mainly used it in a wrong way or perhaps over used the product in some cases. Reading the guidelines really helps.

Good review on the whole, of course no one can really tell how effective it is until one give it a try.
